All right people its time we discuss one of my favorite shows right now. ATLA and LOK. They're like an anime(at times) from good old america. It has awesome stories and characters. Its about these cool people from a cool universe where a good portion of the people can bend the four elements: Earth, Fire, Air and Water. Only one dude, the avatar, can bend all four elements (everybody else gets one)

The first series Avatar: The last airbender is about a kid named Aang who can only bend one element, air, and has to learn to bend the other 3 elements so he can take down Firelord Ozai before he kills errybody. Also, Aang is the last of his people because Ozai's grandpa and his army killed them all.

The second one is about the Avatar after Aang, Korra, and is about her struggles with shipping against a revolutionary named Amon who can take away people's magic powers forever.

Both are pretty good. Check em out then come back here to discuss.

both of those series are awesome, although I cant say I support some of korra's decisions

edit: I fail at spoilers so I'm removing it

They're both awesome series, with TLA being better overall.

Regardless, can't wait for season two of Korra.

I still need to actively watch these. I've heard some really good things and I've seen a decent amount of TLA when it was on TV but I couldn't really keep up with it.

I think Amon is doing the right thing, because
people are terrible and can't be trusted with any kind of power
. It's like the Civil War event in Marvel, where all of the mutants had to get registered. I mean, they weren't stripping anyone's powers, but it's the concept of people with power need to be regulated.

Regardless, I should probably watch these series. XD

Amon wasn't trying to regulate people with powers. He was trying to take away their powers.

That's a form of regulation IMO.

And now for a comic about the worst part of LOK: shipping.

They do it so poorly. If it didn't have a somewhat important bit I'd recommend not watching "the spirit of competition" to newcomers.
